Crew Leader – Weatherization Assistance Program

Position Overview

A hands-on leader to guide a weatherization crew based in Durango, CO. If you have construction or energy efficiency experience and want to make homes safer, warmer, and more energy-efficient, then this is the opportunity for you!

Major Responsibilities

Lead a 3-person crew in performing home energy efficiency upgrades

Work in crawlspaces, attics, and rooftops

Install insulation, repair HVAC systems, seal air leaks, address health and safety issues and much more.

Discuss client comfort issues and educate about energy saving opportunities

Improve home performance by using energy audit reports and diagnostic tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Valid Colorado driver’s license

Strong work ethic, people skills, and tool skills

Willingness to get BPI certified within a year

Spanish fluency a plus!

Training, Experience, and Education

High School diploma or GED.  Construction or home improvement experience is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

$23.00/hr+ starting wage

Full-time, 40 hours/week
