Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Loan Administrative Assistant to support our loan department with daily administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals beginning their career in lending and construction financing while assisting with the coordination, documentation, and tracking of our downpayment and construction loans from application through completion.

Major Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be reliable, eager to learn, and looking to grow in the financial services industry. We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with customers and employees, working behind the scenes and supporting a team to deliver excellent service to our clients.

· Support loan officers in preparing, reviewing, and tracking construction loan documentation

· Perform basic data entry into loan processing systems.

· Collect and track documentation from borrowers (e.g., identification, income verification).

· Schedule appointments and follow up with borrowers as needed.

· Home Inspections for construction and downpayment assistance loan compliance.

· Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.

· Monitor loan applications for completeness and report missing items.

· Assist with draw request processing and help monitor disbursements to builders and contractors.

· Collect and organize required documents such as building permits, budgets, insurance, and inspection reports.

· Communicate with builders, contractors, borrowers, and internal departments to ensure smooth loan progress.

· Enter and maintain accurate loan and project data in the system.

· Track construction project timelines and ensure inspections are completed on schedule.

· Help ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

· Ensure customer information is kept confidential and secure.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.

· Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or other languages) are a plus.

Training, Experience, and Education

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Some experience in an office, customer service, or administrative setting is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

· Pay Range $20-$22 hourly depending on experience
